About Us
After 19 years as an educator, 5 spent as a virtual school facilitator, I decided to retire and open my own business. I hold a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Technology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. For the five year preceding my retirement, I initiated and facilitated the online virtual school for my school. This was offered through the Louisiana Virtual School, and at any given time had an enrollment of approximately 120 students taking 25+ different subjects.
Prior to that, I was employed as a payroll bookkeeper for the local school board, and I assisted my husband in running a full-stocking sporting goods store for 17 years. My employment history has been varied, from a margin cashier in the stock market to a framer at a hobby shop, all of which have given me a very unique skill set.
As part of my technology degrees, I developed several websites. Finding that I enjoyed building websites, I created a couple for myself, then I gifted my friends with websites as a way to acquire more practice, before venturing into business as The iWeb Designer.
